Isn't there a codec I can DL that will allow other media players to play .rm files? :dunno:

Did a search and there is a old link that is now down.

    Winamp > *

I even have Winamp playing my so-called "protected" iTunes music (that I legally purchased) I just hate iTune's player (quicktime)

True, but I want to watch last nights episode of South Park and I can only find it in RM format. :hs:

But you're right. I use WinAmp for everything else.

You can download real alternative and install to play on WMP10. I d/l'd it from free-codecs.com (<--I think) or simply google 'real alternative'.

    (before I get bashed, I'll just admit it...I like WMP10 :o). I didn't like winamp too much (I had Winamp Pro 5.0 -- didn't like the layout.)

tbh, I like the layout of WMP10, as well... However, it eats way too many system resources for my tastes -- and I found some spyware-like "features" that turned me away from it.

Winamp 5 has amazing support for skinning... You can make it look like almost anything. You might wanna check out the skins and see if anything suites your fancy. :wiggle:
