Alternating 2 week bulking and cutting routine?

    I'm 5'9 145lbs and around 8% last time i checked. I'm trying to put on some muscle and weight but also trying to limit the amount of fat I will gain in the process. I'm wondering if bulking clean for 2 weeks followed by 2 weeks of cutting, and repeating this process, is a possible method (maybe not the most efficient) for limiting fat gains? Thanks in advance!

    You probably aren't 8%.
    2 weeks bulking 1 week cutting is a fucking stupid idea.

    the body needs time to adapt to a hypo/hyper caloric diet. by the time your cycle is up, the body will have adapted for maybe a day or two.

    just bulk. start at a calorie intake a little above maintenance, then adjust upward until you find an amount that gives you a mix of muscle/fat gain that you like.

    If you were really at 8% you wouldn't have to ask this question.

    Just bulk clean.

    Gotta agree with this guy. Just do a slow clean bulk. Eat about 250 above maintence if you see you are not putting on much fat add 250.

    I would say alternate between a bulking and maintenance intake. Since your weigh is 145lbs... try an intake of 2900-3000 for 4-6 weeks and then slowly lower your caloric intake without going below your maintenance intake. The balancing act is to now eat the minimum to maintain the weight you initially gained on the hypercaloric intake. Rinse and repeat.
