In any version of Windows you can hit alt-tab to transfer between windows. I know this isn't necessary with Expose but if I'm in a game and want to go back to the finder is there a way to do this without exiting the game?
I know that Apple+Tab is like the same thing... dunnno if it works in games though?
dup thread ftl?
for those who don't know what the command button is, its the apple button lol
bow down to exposé
apple-tab switches between apps (goes in order of last used). You can also enter other commands after apple-tab (hold down apple), such as Q-quit, or you can use the mouse or arrows to select an app.
apple- ~ will switch between windows in the same app, though this can be app dependant. it works in most (all?) apple apps (safari, textedit, preview, etc).
can be quite handy.
expose is wicked too of course.
But will this work inside a game and take you back to the game?
not sure if it works in a game, depends on whether the game controls your entire display. if so, it may not work like you'd want it to.
the games I tried it doesn't, but the games I play have cmd+m and makes it a window which I feel is better
