ALPINE CDA-9815 or PIONEER DEH-P9400MP unless you're not gonna use the head unit to power the in cabin speakers, then i'd get ALPINE CDA-7995 because it has no internal amps.

are there any high end alpines that have motorized flipping? or are they all the fold down, and push back up variety?

Almost all of the newer Alpines are motorized. My CDA-9815 damn sure is and I know the 9813 and last year's premium decks were.

Pioneer 9400 gets me vote. I'm a little biased though as I have a 9300 and the only difference being the ability to play mp3's and the background screens.

I do like the ability to change the background screen. Makes a great atmospheric effect in the cabin of the car.

    ;)

edit: It is kinda pricey though. If you are going for looks then its one to look into but otherwise go with the alpine as it does the same thing but for A LOT less.

Ohh, one more thing to consider. The remote doesnt work very well for my pioneer deck and it might be a problem for all pioneer decks but I really don't know. :dunno: Might want to watch out for that. ;)

lol... he and I actually talked on AIM the other night...

Back on topic. I have a friend who is selling his 959 if you are interested. He wanted $325 for it, but he might be open to a lower price. He had twins recently, and money is in demand at the moment. :bigthumb:
