Picked up a 16" Stag AR at the last gunshow, but I just can't afford to feed this thing. I put about 60 rounds through it, would it be wiser to try and sell it at the gunshow next month and look for a 5.45 AK, or wait until Obama gets elected and hope it appreciates?

order a case of prvi m193 from aim surplus (link was posted last night)

it was $330.01 shipped which is probably the best deal out there right now for .223/5.56

Yeah I know 5.45 is cheaper, but for 300-400 bux you can have an AK to shoot too.

If you're not careful you'll loose 200-300 just in selling the AR.

I've never tried to sell anything at a show before, how douchebaggy are they about giving you a fair deal?

Every gun show I've been to sells shit ARs that have been used as hammers for $800-850. Decents ARs will sell for about 200-300 more than the cost to build.

So if you build one for a grand, I couldn't see you getting more than $800 for it at a show IF that much.

I've got just over a grand in my AR and unless I sell to a AR15.com guy or here, I wouldn't expect to get close to my cost.

Because Wolf is still 13ish cents per round. Still doing better than the .223/5.56 crowd. :hs:
