I'm thinking of purchasing this headunit but before I purchase it, would this headunit be compatible with the stock Acura 6-disc changer via adapter?
If so, where can I find this adapter?

Don't know if it will work or not, but just wanted to say, you'll love the deck if you get it, just had one put into my 98 Integra this morning. :)

As far as I know... NO. There are all kinds of adaptors that can use factory head units to aftermarker changers, but I havent seen anything where you can use the stock changers (especially in dash ones) with an AFTERMARKET head unit.

    BTW... nice cd player. :)

How's the sound quality compared to stock?
Are you running any aftermarket speakers or amplifiers?

Sound quality is great. I have 4 3-way pioneer speakers, and had a Pioneer 7200 head unit that I replaced with the Alpine, and it sounds even better with the Alpine. You won't be dissapointed. :)

I have that deck aswell... its a killer deck. Everyonce and a while it trips out on me though and does some funky stuff, but then starts working again:dunno: Anyone else have these problems?
