Almost a week off

    haven't had a long rest period yet, nothing more than 2-3 days, had a lot of stuff going on, not a lot of rest, so I voluntarily sat out the days I could've lifted... been off about 5-6 days, excited to get back in, I would just sit around looking at the walls knowing I could go to the gym, but decided taking time off would be better

    time to hit it hard, bulking is starting again, been maintaining way too fucking long now

    I havent had a rest longer than 3 days in over 2 years :hsugh:

    good shit, I don't think that my muscles needed it, but my cns and mind did for sure

    it helps a lot when you lose motivation to take a break. Working out seems a whole lot more fun.

    yeah man I went back in refocused, had a friend that was there, but kept my focus on the lifting, hit some heavy bench (warmups felt fucking heavy, worksets felt just the same), heavy dips, overhead bb extensions, standing shoulder presses, and upright and bent over rows... shit felt great

    a little over a month ago i took a week break and when i came back, i tried maxing on the bench and it was 15 lbs more than previously:eek3: given i was cuting i was quite surprized i even gained at all but damned if that week long break didnt help.
