I'm sure this is covered every spring, but here we go again. My allergies are flaring up and I'm having a hard time getting the motivation to eat a lot when my throat is sore. Do you guys have any sweet tips for combating this problem or other associated allergy problems? I know there's always time for ice cream with a sore throat.

Mary J is bad for someone with allergies. Inhaling smoke will stuff you up more.

Go to the doc and ask for Nasonex, otherwise Claritan D which is just as strong as the prescribed allergy medications you get from a doc.

Yeah I've been hitting up the Allegra-D, but to no avail. Maybe it'll work better if I keep using it.

I get the same thing. It is absolute misery :wtc:

Only thing you can do is take a daily pill like Claritan-D and combine that with a decent nasal spray. Nothing you can really do outside of that.

pills alone are worthless. spray is where it is at. The normal store brand stuff with oxymetazoline hcl + moisturizer is pretty good. Pretty much works great whenever you feel all stuffed up. it opens your inflamed sinuses like magic.

ive been running zicam non drowsy for the first time this year and so far the results are too good to believe. I used to get it bad. constant runny nose, red watery eyes... so far ive got nothing. im living in fear that allergy season hasnt really started yet because i cant believe im going to get off this light.

in my experience, pills are not nearly as effective as sprays for seasonal allergies. add a pill if the spray isnt getting the job done, but rely mainly on spray.

Where did you get the Zicam?

Is there a prescription needed? I want to use that in addition to the Claritan-D.
