i'm allergic to dairy products. i know that whey is a milk derivative. what other protein options do i have besides soy?

and my goal isn't to get massive but rather a nice build. i'm 5'6" 145 but just an average build in my sense. i'd like to trim fat but keep the same weight and develop more muscle mass.

i've also been eating these salmon filets that come in a bag frozen from sams.

label says each one contains 41g of protein while only 270 calories. is this a good substitute? i've been eating 2 for dinner w/ a salad. 82g of protein seems a lot for me to take in at once, though.

You can still get Whey Protein, you just have to get Whey Protein Isolate.

    chicken sucks

I'd say egg protein would be the best bet, or a very good brand of isolate

Personally, Salmon is one of the healthiest protein sources, as it contains a shit load of other healthy vitamins and fatty acids. I also think salmon is the nicest tasting meat out there.

About eating alot of protein at one time, not much can be said other than in Marcus Ruhl's video he was saying how alot of the time he has to eat over 100g of protein in one sitting if he's missed a meal. Then again, marcus is much bigger than most guys.
