    take in water, protein, and brown rice by the pound/gallon

    I eat everything and drink 2-3 nights heavily every weekend. I still make good gains.

    yea you want to gain fat lbs or lbs of lean mass?

    those calories from sugar, simple carbs, trans fat's is the same thing as injecting and I.V. to pump fat directly into your gut. Its all about the quality of the calories you consume that make you look good. If you want to lose/gain lbs but still look like shit, you got the right idea :hsugh:

    throw some steel cut oats in a blender with some whey, yogurt, and ice cubes

    There are hundreds of better foods out there to get carbohydrates from then anything that contains flour.

    Oats, vegeteables, fruits, legumes.

    Way more nutritionally dense, filling, and overall better for you

    my main point of this thread is trying to keep everything simple. People overcomplicate nutrition too much IMO

    err, and telling people No sugars at all, and no this and no that is not overcomplicating it?
    callories at 12xBW protein at 1-2g / lbs BW is simple

    I should have said high fructose corn syrup...sugar was too broad.
