I'm through with it. I'm all for dieting properly to lose weight, but this diet is a little too extreme for me. On top of that, I've never been so tired throughout the day in my life (lack of carbs) and have never dreaded a meal so much before (carb meal). I'm sure my body would adjust, but the psychological damage is too great

Yes, I'm being a wimp, but I lost 30lb on a much "friendlier" diet in the past, so I'll just go with a modified version of that. However, I'm going to incorporate certain parts of the cutdiet into my other diet, so this past week wasn't in vain.

For those of you who have stuck with this diet, I genuinely applaud you and your iron-will.

I love grapefruit, but it's really a hassle to eat 7 meals a day and be constantly cooking chicken and halibut (even with a George Foreman).

The grapefruit and peanut butter were no problem for me because I like both a lot. Those will definitely be some of the aspects incorporated into my newer diet.

Go with the easier diet for now, and after a while when you stop losing fat on that diet, then go to the cut diet for a month or so to get rid of that pesky fat.

I've been cutting about 1.5 months now, and just a couple days ago dropped my cals by 200 (2,200 now) and knocked carbs down to 150g. I feel so weak and tired, not to mention I think the lack of calories in my body contributed to me catching a cold/flu :wtc:

I can't wait until I am sub 2,000 cals and sub 100 carbs.

    Oh well.

    No pain, no gain.

It does indeed enhance the absorption of SOME drugs...valium is a good example. However, it inhibits the absorption of others. I would research a little more before putting money on increased absorption of supplements.
