...compulsively do drugs and binge drink
wow....they didn't even bother to make up facts this time around. Also, I notice that all of a sudden, 18 year olds are considered 'kids'
fucking brady bunch
I wish I could carry my AK on campus
I think some different captions would be better fitting.
god. it kills me that they don't even care that it's the constitution they are shitting all over.
You know, even a person that is against guns should be able to see this for what it really is. If I was supporting a group that used such alarmist claims they would never receive funding from me again.
i pray to god they will change the laws in fl so i can carry on campus....having to leave me shit in the car is a PITA
cant CCW on campus here. against state law...
are there a lot of metal detectors?
College gun owner crew holla
I'll be a senior by age but a junior by credit next fall. I'll also be living in a free state in a month so I'll be CCing as well (Though not at school sadly).
none, but i would rather not run the risk of having a 2nd degree misdemeanor on my record AND getting expelled from school.
at least if the law backed me, i would have half a chance of fighting an expulsion.
not trying to convince you to carry, but my thought is always that if it's concealed, no one knows about it, and if you NEED it, you're not going to care if you got expelled for it.
its federal law that you cannot carry on any campus
except in the state of utah
I don't think that's true... I think it's by state. For instance VT could have allowed it.
The key to that article is "expressly allows". Utah law expressly states that State universities MUST allow carry. Some other states do not outlaw carry on Universities, but those universities may have policy against it. Other states, such as FL, expressly FORBID carry at universities.
it cannot be a federal law, or no state could do it...
federal law always trumps state law.
But that doesn't say that there is a federal law only allowing residents of Utah to carry. That just says that there is no other state that explicitly says that the residents CAN carry on a campus. There are states that don't allow it, states that explicitly don't allow it, and then ones that just don't have anything in the law about it.
Is this not the correct interpritation of that?
i had an incident where two gooks in a lexus nearly plowed my car in the parking lot, and didnt seem to think much of it when i confronted them... it pissed me off to the point where i was ready to fight both of them, and tried. they got my tag and told security i had a gun(i didnt even own a gun at this point in time). when i came back for my night class, i had cops looking for me. they searched my car(after i told them no, but i didnt have a gun so i let them) thats why i will not even bring my gun on any school property, for any reason. id much rather have a knife then a gun AT school.
wouldn't a knife be an illegal weapon anyway...?
here in FL, the law allows you to have a gun in your car on campus as long as its "securely incased". Glove box and center consoles are considered as such.
So i just leave mine in the car when I get on campus.
i am not sure to tell you the truth, but id rather be caught with a knife(many many more defenses for having a knife vs having a gun) then caught with a gun
thats cool, but i dont live in florida... GA specifically says no where on campus... you're not even supposed to drive through the faggot school zones with one in your car.
