ive only had experince with alienware pcs.

ive NEVER had a problem with them. something goes wrong, ship it back, get them to fix it. (if its hardware).

never hear of voodoo pc, got a link?

someone posted the other week the company that actually makes the laptops for alienware, they just don't have the fancy paint job. They were a little bit cheaper and the same exact thing.

Voodoo is too expensive when you can get the same quality from alienware.
If you arent going to use your laptop for gaming, don't go with either.

for the money you would spend on a "gaming laptop" you could get a nice small light lappy and an elite desktop that would blow away any "gaming laptop" money could buy

    just my 2 cents

Sager Computers.... exact same laptops, infact they make models even higher than the one alienware sells (5660 I think). I had one of the 8887s for 30 days from them and loved it, but had to send it back because it had far too much bulk with the huge screen (hardly any cases would fit it) :big grin:

oh and I agree, for no gaming I would go with a dell (I'm currently using an Inspiron 8200 and their support is top notch)

I only have a 8100 for my only pc, and it gets the job done.
    1ghz
    64mb video
    512mb ram

playing medal of honor it gets kind of laggy on battery power. but other games like warcraft and total war, civ 3 its fine
