    I've recently started getting back into the training, I'm 6'3 190lbs and am looking to get big. Its been a week and a half, I'm training 4/5 days a week right now in the gym and its going good.

    Now, I've never really been a drinking person, but a close friends birthday is coming up this weekend and a massive binge drinking session is certainly on the cards.

    Do the brolly crew just drink water while they're out with friends? Or do they enjoy an occasional drink?

    I don't need drink to have fun, but you always look like a sore thumb when you're the only one not drinking. :squint:

    General consensus is if you're not getting on stage anytime soon go ahead and have some beers and enjoy life.

    Personally when I bulk I just stop drinking altogether, fucks me up too much. The rest of the year I end up drinking a few times a month. If I was single it would be much more.

    I'm not broly but I stick to a 2-3 drink deal. Get a nice social buzz but don't over do it. Course if you want to get shit faced that's whatever but not on the reg

    The more you drink, just make sure you work out harder to make up for it. maybe schedule an extra cardio session that week :dunno:

    drink in moderation up to a buzz.. actually enjoy your drink.. keg stands are a phase of life, and usually dont lead to you getting laid.

    I'll go out to the bar but I usually bring a tupperware with some chicken breast, shrimp, brown rice, veg..offset the damage.

    I have one night a week I'll have a bottle of wine or more. That's free meal day/out with the girls/whatever.

    I usually have one drink with dinner even on low-calorie days, as long as I hit my protein goals.

    I don't drink, but that's because I'm like 'bee string allergy' level allergic to any sort of alcohol. I wouldn't let training or anything else get in the way of having a good time though.

    i quit drinking beer because of the carbs so i have a Grey Goose + Club Soda cocktail instead.

    not drinking often rules, just had 1 strong beer the other day and was feeling pretty strong effect :bowdown:

    well, maybe less, but still... alcohol calories are the ones that suck.
