What's the best place online to buy AK mags? Is there anything I should know about different brands, or all they all pretty much the same?

Looking to buy 10 or so.

Sportsmans Guide probably has the best deal going right now I think for used ones. Not much you need to know about AK mags I've never had a 7.62 one that didnt work. If they have a rib on the back they're european/russian, if they have no rib those are chinese.

Thanks, mang. I'll probably go the 12 pack route through SG. It's about $7 a mag that way.

Alot of guys have had good luck with them, just takem all apart cleanem up good and if you want refinish the real nasty ones, and slight chance ya might need to replace a spring or follower. I'd pick up more from SG but there a bunch of faggots, going to try ordered 4-5 from CF see what kinda shape there in.

All the mags I've gotten from SG have been decent quality. They work I guess and were pretty cheap. They don't match the rest of my AK but I'm going to refinish it and some mags I think.

    also curious in the price..

are you willing to trade as well? i have some yugo bolt hold open mags that i can't use cause they dont' fit into my magwell. I tried grinding my gun and a mag, but neither fit. I also have a 55 rnd ak mag for anyone that wants to buy. It doesn't quite work right, needs a stronger spring, but i dont' know where to find one.

it'll feed only every other round. if anyone knows how to fix it let me know...

I got one of the 55rd ones too, it works if I dont load more then 50 or so rounds in it. If you want to trade yugo mags, mag for mag I might be interested, I got various european manafactuered steel 30's I'd trade, or even a couple of my waffles but they may not work either if the yugo's dont fit well.

i might be interested in some trades, depending on items. only ones i currently want to get rid of are misc euro mags at 9 each. they are all in great to excellent shape. id also sell my bakelites for the right price... but i really love those. i have a few yugo triangle witness holes id get rid of too.
