i have a laptop which i am using stolen wireless internet

i also have a set of computer speakers with their own power supply.

with an airport, will i be able to connect the speakers to the airport, and then be able to play my music from my laptop to those speakers?

You could get an Express and hook your speakers to it. But to connect to the express AND surf the internet (ie listen to music and surf the internet), you would need that airport express to either join the existing airport network or expand it. If you have all the access (including base station access when you use airport utility) it shouldn't be a problem...

unless its a new airport extreme, I can't get WDS to work on those at all using g repeaters...

What he said above is correct. Since it sounds like you don't have access to the base station there is no way that you could listen to music through the express and surf the internet at the same time.
