so my airport express died just yesterday and I got all upset. I've had it for 4 years and used it to extend my network out, but still I was depressed. I looked on the discussion forums at apple and was pointed out that the applecare my macbook/iMacG5 have, covers all types of airport base stations. called up apple talked to them told them my airport Express was 2 years old (Yea, I lied). I was put on hold and the lady told me their gonna ship out a brand new one at no cost.

    how cool is that

I'm pretty sure Apple Care is only supposed to cover that Airport if it was purchased on the same receipt as your computer with Apple Care. That's awesome though if they still covered it. :bigthumb:
