Ok so here is my situation, I am living in a dorm room that requires me to register my computer's ehternet address in order for the Internet to work. So right now i have my mac hooked up to the internet through an ethernet wire. Is there anyway i can share my internet to my xbox?

Is it possible to have it look like this?

Internet --> Mac --> (wirelessly) airport base station --> (wired) xbox (form the ethernet connection port?

Closest link I found. It's called MAC address cloning. If your router supports it, you clone your Mac's MAC address (the hardware that ID's it on the network) with the router and the router treats both the computer and Xbox traffic as from the computer you cloned.

If you had a PC with Windows XP, you could just use the included Internet Connection Sharing and be done with it. :mamoru:

When I dormed, I registered my desktop and my xbox, then plugged a switch into the ethernet wall jack and hooked everything up to that. You might be able to do the same with the airport by disabling dhcp.
