So did 4 years in the Marine Corps, got out and am having a shitty ass time finding a good paying job in this economy. Thinking of going into something else that would offer a decent bonus. Anyone been chair force EOD and have an opinion on it? Also anyone know if they are offering a prior service bonus? I think Navy is offering 40k right now. BTW i was a 3521 before (Wheeled vehicle mech)

not really into the whole oorah, semper fidelis, motard thing that the corps likes. well if the air force doesnt like prior service maybe navy eod might be the way to go. anyone know about how an enlistment bonus works for prior service?

If you type something like "Navy EOD Recruitment" into google, I suspect you'll find someone who knows alot about the current enlistment bonus. GL.

    This isn't true.
Marines have the potential to do very well in the AF. You just have to learn to play the game. It is a different game than the Marines.

I don't know from personal experience, and I've never met any Navy EOD guys, but does Navy EOD go through BUDS? And if so... :noes:

Navy EOD doesn't go through BUD's...however, they go through Dive school prior to EOD school...then they follow up EOD school with underwater demo. Navy EOD is probably the most trained EOD guys out there as far as surface/underwater ordnance go....then I would put Army and Marines right behind them...AF EOD...well you summed them up for the most part.
