I really like my eotech, but I only use it for <200yd shooting at the range.

What're you going to use it for?

EOTech's will be faster but battery life is going to suck. They won't last as long either.

    By M4B, he meant M4s.

You will get a similar message from Pat Rogers.

My response was to why he chose the EOTech.

    Aimpoint out of those two.

    Aimpoint T-1 > those two.
    Accupoint > above
    Meopta/NF > above

Battery life on current Aimpoints lasts longer than most marriages.

    Better reticle and faster speed.

I heard this more than once, including a guy at the range I met a few days ago. He just bought the EOTech and the 3X magnifier. He said he liked the optic itself but the magnifier made the reticle look blurry.

Battery life wasn't a big deal for me, and I don't care that it auto-shuts off.

I'd like to check out an Aimpoint whenever I can at the range next- Maybe I'll grab one to go on my next AR :)

Love my EOTech for the speed of target acquisition. I'll have to send it in to L3 for "voluntary product modification" though...

Oh and the infinite eye-relief is awesome...even if you can't get a good/perfect cheekweld, you can still hit your target.

better reticle is completely subjective :hsughno:

and what does "faster speed" mean? :hsughno: how would that be testable?

    Okay, here is deal.

I get a free Aimpoint or EOTech, mount, rear and front iron sights, sling, and sling adapter.

    Sling is decided on.

Aimpoint Comp M2 or equivalent EOTech?
    Which sights for cowitness?
