    I like the EOTech better than the aimpoint, but that is just personal, but on a higher budget I would probably go Trijicon ACOG.

    that will be transferred to an SBR? dont get me wrong, i'm sure its a great optic but i think a T1 will suit him just fine now, and rock on an SBR

    Personally I think T1's are stupid on AR's because you have such a small tube and have to run a really tall mount to get it to eye level. T1's make a lot more sense on strait stock long guns or pistols.

    Maybe if I had to get marooned on a desert island - then I could consolidate most of my batteries down to AAs.
