    damn everyone always talks about big 5 but i don't have one :( there aren't many good options in my area :(

    Big5 is a west-coast-only kinda store. IIRC they don't go east of NM.

    I remember back 6-7 years ago when I first started getting into guns and my dad got a subscription to Shotgun News. They always had surplus mausers for like $40 on the front page, then cases of 1000+ rounds of 8mm for maybe $50. Of course that was when I was in 8th grade or so and couldn't get a job :wtc:, now that I'm actually old enough to work, I couldn't afford any of this shit even if I did have a job.

    My buddy has a Czech 8mm mauser. 8mm recoil is rough. After about 10 rounds, I didn't want to play anymore.

    $129 - $179 for the non serial matching, i think the ones with the matching serial numbers were $249 or $299 i can't remember, right around there anyway

    i got my yugo mauser for secret santa a few years ago (thanks panzerace :hs: ) i think it was like $90 or $110 at big-5, and i got a tin of ammo (~900 rounds) for like $85
