Can't justify owning a pistol with all the bulk of my 1911, and the mag capacity of my P3AT. Just rankles the common sense, despite being the sex that SIG is...

Aside from the issues Thunder noted it is a Sig. I shoot Sigs well. I like Sigs.

Great gun, wish I never would have sold mine. Only downside is that because of these surplus deals, mags are damn near impossible to find for less than $40.

Yeah really, cheap factory mags are hard to find. Don't buy the ProMag crap either. I bought a few at a gun show and the last round always fails to feed. When I first got to shoot mine I had a few jams. Cleaned the gun and then noticed that the magazines were very dirty on the inside. Cleaned them up and no problems, even with old dirty reloads. Other than that its a nice gun to fuck around with.

It's a single stack 9mm. It made my G19 feel huge. The P225 is so thin and fit my hand perfectly, much more so than a P226 unfortunately.

Single stack doesn't always mean thinner though. I've put my calipers on the grip of a sig 239 and my walther p99 and found them to be roughly the same width.

It's still way thinner than a P226 or G19, neither of which I consider to be bulky. :dunno:
