    The silver bear is cheap fairly clean plinking ammo.

    I'd buy it but you can't shoot steel jackets at our range which sucks. I can't even shoot 7.62x39 since all of it is steel jacket/steel core.

    only thing not allowed at our range is tracers, and reloads. Other than that, you can shoot anything up to a .50 :eek3:

    Brass is softer, less wear on the extractor etc. but more expensive
    Steel cased is cheaper supposedly puts more wear on the extractor.

    Another pro of brass is that it's reloadable. Steel cased is fine, just don't shoot steel cased and then try to shoot brass right after.
