When I'm here on my college campus, I can't log onto regular AIM. I know that there's a way to bypass the way that they have it blocked, but Idk how. I hate using AIM Express. So, does anyone know how to do it? Thanks :).

buy your school admin a lobster dinner.....

Only thing you can do is go into your connection properties and try a server with a different port other than the standard one (which i think is 5190). I am also assuming you are using the actual AOL version of the client, not a 3rd party app.

you're probably supposed to log into something like cisco clean access. at my school if we dont log into that we have limited access, and one of the things they block in the limited access mode is aim. i think the only reason they do that is because they know everyone wants to talk on aim, so they'll log in rather than using guest mode.

    I already know about Meebo.

My old school used Cisco Clean Access, but this one doesn't.

Is there any way to log into the actual AIM program that I have downloaded on my computer?
