Since I have copy and pasted this reply in PM's over and over I thought I would post it so it's easy to find in a search.

    It's an Aromatase Inhibitor.
The "feedback loop" that your HPTA (brain) uses to signal your testes to make more testosterone measures how much estrogen is in your blood. It doesn't measure how much testosterone there is. So when it sees low estrogen it signals for more testosterone, that's the feedback loop.
Where does the estrogen come from? That's the key. Estrogen comes from Testosterone (for the sake if this discussion we aren't going into the other smaller sources of estrogen). An enzyme called the Aromatase enzyme makes estrogen out of Testosterone. So if you have Testosterone pumping up out of your testes, the aromatase turns it into Estrogen, the HPTA reads the estrogen levels and when it gets too high it shuts off the testes. When the levels of Estrogen get low it turns them back on.
AIFM attaches to the aromatase enzymes and kills them. With less aromatase to convert your Testosterone into Estrogen, your blood level of estrogen drops. Your HPTA reads that there is low Estrogen and signals the testes to make more Testosterone. Then that Testosterone doesn't get converted and so on. You're tricking your brain into thinking you have less Testosterone than you do so it keeps pumping it out of your testes.
AIFM = Dead Aromatase = higher natural testosterone levels.

I just have a quick question about this product, does it have any negative side effects/can it harm your system or is it completely safe?

Ulter, what are some of the side effects people have experienced with AIFM? and conversely what are some "real world" results that have come from using AIFM?

Is it meant to be cycled? PCT? Can you stack it with other supplements? What is the recommend length of time to stay on AIFM?

    Thanks,
    IBF marketing ploy

Anyone have any lab tests showing pre/post AIFM test/estrogen/hormone levels?

AIFM greatly reduced bloat, saw some strength gains, reduced puffy nipples

never noticed any negative side effects worth mentioning that I could attribute to the AIFM

I took a bit too much at first and it made my knees hurt. As soon as I lowered the dose the pain went away.

There are none reported by either people using it or in the medical literature. There is no rebound affect like you get with nolvadex and arimidex. Your Test levels just go back to where they were.

See above: there are no side effects. Unless you're allergic to it of course. Then you might get a rash.
You can stay on it as long as you like. Several hundred of our customers have been on it over 2 years. I've been on it over 3 years.

Yes, but I don't have those.

That's an odd side effect I have not seen posted in the last 3 years. I hope you returned it for a refund.

If anyone is unhappy with their AIFM then by all means send it to me so I can bang it out and keep a detailed log of my experience.

    6-oxo produces estrogen metabolites

because of oral dosing there is wide variance in plasma levels, both due to half life as well as due to oral bioavailability variance and inconsistency.

that is indeed a sign of it working, too much estrogen suppression will cause joint dryness. that is technically a side effects, though as you can see one that is rather easy to abrogate via dose reduction. (this is not so much a response to this particular post but clarification in answer to others in this thread re: sides)

this MAY be "test" flu (fairly common when test levels spike- though usually from exogenous test). Though could also be some kind of odd allergy or immune response issue. Guessing that its the former, but could be the latter or some other anomolous response to aromatase inhibition or the carrier vehicle itself.

it is an aromatase inhibitor, taking too much can produce negative side effects. Generally reducing the dose will alleviate these symptoms within a day, two at the outside.

nothing is completely safe, people can have an adverse reaction to pretty much anything even light itself (rare genetic condition, allergy to sunlight). thats why the government deems things GRAS, generally regarded as safe. Would say that generally, aside from the occasional allergy to ingredients and site over use (irritation/allergy), it would fall into that category.

Are there any known negative drug interactions with AIFM?
i.e. with things like corticol-steroids and other anti allergy meds?

"exogenous" refers to an action or object coming from the outside of a system
