"For years, the vast majority of Americans have recognized that military-style assault weapons have no place on our streets our in our communities. These high-powered killing machines...."

you know, I would think this was funnier, but some people actually believe this Bullshit.

I never knew that the SKS is a variant of the AK and that it can shoot through armor :hsugh:

There are no signifigant differences between AR15s and M16s? How about the full auto feature?

AR15s are more deadly than M16s because they are only semi auto. So its not possible at all to use an M16 in full auto and semi auto?
Well, better make M16s legal and AR15s not. Id be down :coold:

I just wish that they'd EXPLAIN HOW THEY'RE TRACED TO CRIME. I'm going to guess that most of them are illegal possession charges - ex felons caught with guns. Every time a REAL crime is committed with a gun we sure as hell end up hearing about it.

I'm going to just ignore the bad grammar. They neglected to mention the fact that these guns cost over $1000 today. How many crooks are going to spend a fucking grand on a gun and then run off and commit a crime with it? This article really pisses me off.

This group is full of a bunch of gun grabbing media spinsters. They talk about how an assault weapon that can be traced back to Maryland is recovered from a crime every 2 days yet they can only give a handful of examples of actual crimes committed with them. Honestly, after reading the whole thing, it sounds more like a group of cops wrote it to try and make their lives and jobs easier.

What the hell? I mean that no criminal is gonna spend the cash for an old collectible one, much less a new production one. I have a hard time seeing someone commit a crime with a carbine when there are much more types of rifles out there.
