That is: undesirable meaning no one would want to have kids or a family with them.

Every person I've met that's said "I don't wants kids or a family" is usually a huge loser going nowhere in life or is the subject of constant rejection by the opposite sex.

    Disagree.

I dont want kids, personally. I'd much rather work my life torwards being happy with myself and my success. Having a child is a burden I'd rather not have.

As far as marriage, eh. Do I want a girl? Of course. do I think we need to be married in order to be together? Absolutely not. I dont agree w/ the whole, "Need a ring on your finger" bs in order to 'love' someone.

    You're making a generalization...

Attractive people with ambitious goals that don't want kids don't brag about it like unattractive people that can't find a mate.

A lot of women that don't want kids usually end up changing thier minds on the subject. I've had several female friends that swore up and down they'd never have kids. When they got to around 30, that changed, and they wanted the family and kiddies.

    Not true.

22 year old women who want families/kids RIGHT THE FUCK NOW are crazy/losers. I mean, they are throwing away their youth and freedom, and are much more likely to have big issues to deal with down the road.

22 year old women who want to have successful career women, and don't even think about marriage/kids are winners.

Of course when they turn 30...

I am successful with women, have a good career with a prestiguous degree, probably going to go back for my MBA, have a lot of intersting hobbies

    I don't want kids*

disclaimer, if/when i find the girl i want to marry, and she's awesome enough and wants kids, a compromise CAN be made

Quick Survey for I Don't Want Kids Crew members who are older than 22?

    Are you physically attractive?
    Are you social?
Do you find dating pretty easy and don't have trouble getting dates?
Do you have a college eduction from a top 75 school?
Do you earn the median or higher for your location and age group?
Do you have investments or other savings?

I'm NOT IMPLYING ANYTHING here, btw. I just think it'd be interesting to see the results.

    Disagree

I know plenty of people who aren't uggos and/or social rejects that just don't want to have and raise kids.

Undesirable for me in that I wouldn't date them. However, I know people who aren't social rejects like Emfuser said, they just don't want kids. :dunno:

i wouldnt choose to be with someone who didnt want the same things i wanted, but i dont think that the majority of those people who dont want kids/families are unattractive

raising kids is just such a miserable proposition. being sex deprived, sleepy, broke, and busy for like 15+ years... then they start telling you they hate you... then you pay for college? where do i sign up.

    @ #1

#2, you know thats a dead end argument, right? I mean, I can always just throw up the Bill Gates situation and completely moot your point.

As far as getting a degree, anyone with time can get a degree from a good school. In certain situations, you dont have time to take off from work and go to school. I was one of the people in those situations.

Gotta do what you can and make the best of it. After high school I didnt attend college.

First year out of high school I made $21k.
Second year out of high school I made just about $35k
Third year out of high school I made just under $40k (and that was playing video games professionally)

I mean honestly, different strokes for different folks. Im a salesmen at heart. No matter what I sell, I can sell it. I'll sell a TV to a blind man. and i've sold a warranty to a nun who proclaimed God was going to protect her product. It makes no difference.

Some times you need schooling for the career you choose, sometimes you dont. In my position, im doing rather well with out a college education and have been making solid money ever since my third year OUT of high school (over $40k). So reallistically, im happy with where I am.

Im 22, almost 23, make good money, am much more intelligent than alot of people I know who did attend college, and quite frankly, I dont have $100k worth of debt.

For the record, I had the highest SAT score of my graduating class (only like 80 students) but it was damn near impressive for a 'kid' who grew up in the shit hole that is South Providence (I scored a 1440), and I still didnt attend college. I must be an idiot.
