I did a search but the links to newegg were all deactivated products.

I currently have a Radeon 9800 PRO so i'd like to go upwards from there (probably not hard :hs: ) and keep the price below $150.

i'm out of the loop on video cards and dont know if a 128mb, 256mb or 512mb card would be the best, but the most recent game i play is Battlefield 2 :dunno:

    recommendations?

I was looking at these two, but dont know how they stack up to anything else

i should also add that i do not play many games, i'd just like to upgrade my video card to take advantage of a bigger monitor (20" or 24" widescreen) :hs:

I just bought that one, made by Sapphire. I used to have an GIGABYTE nVidia 7600GS, and it worked great, but...you know...new and shiny...DirectX 10...even though I don't run Vista...:dunno:

The fan on the HD3650 is a little whiny. I'm investigating soldering a resistor into the fan's power cord to cut its speed a bit.
