    agp = own bus at 8x (~2.0gb)

    pci = shared bus. slower speed.

    before you buy...make sure you open up your comp and to check to see if you have a brown "agp" slot on your motherboard. just trying to save you the trouble of buying a noncompatible card.

    my first computer had ISA slots in it, and i have a 200 mhz sitting next to me that has ISA slots in it. hes not too young, just uninformed :big grin:

    and AGP means accelerated graphics port, so hence accelerated graphics, AGP > PCI
