After years of trying to find the right routine- i've found one that fits.

It does take a while to find the routine that works for both your body and mind. I'm constantly trying to bulk and I've went through routine after routine.

I've finally settled on a nice split that my body recovers very well from, and have gained a lot of strength. Before, I was always worried and stressed out if I missed a day of my old routine where I would train hard everyday without giving my body a break. People may say you overtrain a certain body part but it all depends from person to person. I HAVE FOUND what works for me.

    Monday: CHEST/ Tri's
    Tuesday: Abs, Bi's, Shoulders (Simple)
    Wednesday: LEGS, Abs, Tris
Thursday: Light Cardio (Running) , HOT TUB/ POOL! (Simple)
    Friday: BACK, bis, Shoulders
Saturday: ABs, LIGHT Tris, Bi's (simple)
    Sunday: OFF

:dunno: I found that this keeps me growing and in overall good shape for the Marine Corps. I like to switch up the big routines with different exercises that fit what I'm doing that day.... while keeping the essentials.\

    It's a very low-stress workout, I love it.

thats a lot of tris and abs. but whatever works for you. your triceps don't get worked out doing shoulder workouts? Do you just do a lot of lateral raises?

yea but you have people saying 5 sets of 5 is ideal then you have people saying 3 sets of 8.

some say 4-6 is for growth/stength
    6-10 for definition

others say 1-5 is just for power
    6-12 is for growth

it's hard to decide what to follow.

everyone should tailor their routine to themselves. can't just go "whats ronnie coleman's routine" and do it and expect the best results.

if it works for you great, keep it up.
