    ....I'm getting nowhere fast.

I'm lifting every day...most days twice a day...eating plenty of carbs, taking my protein, taking my BCAA's....not very much progress.

At least I'm still lean. :mamoru:

Go ahead...flame away. But please, give me some helpful advice (besides "eat more").

I've put on about 8 solid pounds without any fat gain.

All numbers have increased quite a bit actually. For example, my bench went up about 44 pounds since then.

If you consider the gains between those two pictures and the amount of body mass movement from fat to muscle, I cannot fathom why you do not think you are making incredible progress?

    My thoughts?
Dont be afraid to eat more.
Really, to go from say 12% BF down to 8% BF after a good "clean bulk" is a matter of a few weeks.
You will still have the benefits of maintaining a relatively lean look but dont risk the following...

I would much rather eat "slightly more" than needed so I do not risk starving my gains. In a perfect world we would like to eat just enough to gain the muscle we expect with little excess fat, but, obtaining that ratio is impossible.
Eat a couple more hundred calories per day for 8 weeks, if you see your BF rising to unwanted levels back off.
Me, I think you are possibly starving your gains.

than try eating more if you're not gaining. You don't need to stretch the gaining process out over 10 years, take a year, put on the weight

Thank you for good constructive criticism!

Your last paprgraph is exactly what I've decided to start doing. I'm going to start adding a few hundred cals to each meal for about 8 weeks and see if there are any more noticeable gains.

I am confused about your first sentence thoguh....are you saying you see no noticeable gains or that you do see noticeable change? I see a change in mass movement like you stated, and quite a bit of growth in my arms (that obviously you can't easily see in the pics).

    Again, thank you.

I was holding a towel. And I do this becasue I've been trying to work on my lower abdominals since day one...and I am waiting to see some improvement in the pics.

    maxxpower is EXACTLY right.

I do see progress, but it is very slow progress IMO. You are damned lean and that WILL NOT change overnight so don't panic about it. Even 10% is still lean and you could easily get up to 12% and still have a six pack. You can EASILY get that back down into single figures with a month of dieting too.

I'm not saying dirty bulk but try 3500kcal a day for 2 weeks and see how it goes. See how much fat you gain, and if it's too much, try 3250kcal a day

I'm not trying to take "shortcuts" per se....but I don't want to "bulk" traditionally...I'm trying to find a nice point just above maintenance so I can do this somewhat cleanly...without being a few hard cut weeks away from really lean.

I was 174 back in September when I started....cut extreme down to 143...and I'm about 151 in the morning before meals and hydrating.
