What an absolute piece of garbage this thing is. I tried to see if there was another rental available, but this one was the only thing left.

The inside resembles something that Hefty might have made and the engine is something the belongs in a push lawnmower. Absolutely a piece of shit on wheels. When you push the pedal all the way down, the RPM spikes to 6k (redline) and stays there, yet the car continues to accelerate...wtf?!

I would say that a base model Matrix, corolla, mazda3 or civic is better than the caliber :dunno:

it took you 100 miles? i could have told you that without driving it one inch. dodge's designers have lost all inspiration and creativity. ALL of their new cars look like garbage with exception to the Challenger. but once you get past the looks of that car, it's still a piece of shit.

those of you bitching about the spike to redline thing, I'm pretty sure that the calibers you drove had CVT transmissions, thats how they act

That's because you've trained yourself as a typical American to feel that way.

Japanese cars in the 90s were better than they are now.

American cars in the 90s were worse than they are now.

It's all the same shit these days....just gotta pick out the interior you like more.
