2 more squat racks, 2 more benches, a few more machines, new flooring... cool.

HOWmotheruckingEVER, no more medicine balls, only 1 adjustable seat, dumbells go up to 100lbs, no stretching area whatsoever, 4 treadmills for 2000 people...

But the mother of all fuck-ups -- NO LAT PULLDOWN at all and instead of getting new barbells (they're rusty) they SPRAYPAINTED them black.

So now I have black shit all over my hands at the end of a workout.

I have to rig this bootleg ass lat pulldown out of this random machine that uses cables that feels like a bowflex.

    Jesus Christ.

I start off my back day with pullups but I like to squeeze out wide grip pulldowns for 15 or so at the end of a workout -- not to mention a lot of people can't do pullups at all.

I'm a junior here, so I'm not transferring.

It's one of the top business schools in the world so I'm not going to leave, especially at this point. Definitely not a ghetto school.

But since people here are more concerned with money than general well being and fitness, they could care less about the gym for the most part.

edit: and there's a Boston Sports Club right next to school so if students want they can shell out ~$65/mo, but I have enough expenses right now that a few months break from gym costs is fine by me.

I get a great workout here still, but damn it's like they are insulting us.

My CC didn't have shit for a gym. I would have killed to have had a halfway decent gym between classes.

we had about 12-16 thousand kids on campus every semester, our gym highlights included two benches, two racks, 3 treadmills.

needless to say you had to WAIT IN FUCKING LINE FOR ONE OF THESE>

    sucked bad

trust me, the gym here is much worse. there's a smith machine thats at a slant, not even a straight up and down one, and no regular barbells, only an easy curl bar. i have to deadlift with a fucking easy curl bar, and i have to bench or squat on a smith machine. also the dumbbells only go up to 75lbs. i really need to just go join a regular gym.
