MIL AFROTC and non-tech degrees (foreign languages) - possible?

  1. I'm going to be a senior in High School next year, and I'm also interested in AFROTC, but not interested in getting a degree in anything tech. I'm interested in foreign languages (mostly Japanese). Is it possible to get accepted into AFROTC and get commissioned with a major in Japanese? I do know that American military presence in Japan is pretty high - I would think they would have a big need for translators or someone that can work with the local people. I was also thinking of picking up a minor in Korean as well.

If anyone has had experience with languages/linguistics in the military, especially concering ROTC/Officers, I would definitely like to hear your opinion.
