Reason being is that I get super depressed and have zero motivation to shoot anything. Everyone is in hibernation and has no desire for photos. Maybe x-mas parties...

What do you guys who live in the northern snowy states do during winter time? My Niche is outdoor, lively, candid portraits and what not. I have little experience doing inside portrait work. Perhaps I need to begin practicing. It's just so boring to me though...

I kinda got myself into winter shooting mode and haven't really enjoyed shooting all the green stuff now.

I'm looking at jobs in AZ. Lot more to offer there. That would be nice. I used to love winter until I got seriously depressed this past.

It's never really gotten hot up here this year. We saw 1 day of ~90 degree heat, about a week in the 80s, and a couple of weeks in the 70s, but only one of them nice. for the most part we've been in the mid-upper 60s, which kinda blows. i like the heat when it's seasonal. :hs:

Unless you're talking about northern AZ, the desert heat sucks balls.

You need to find something midway...like Virginia or Colorado.

word is Virginia gets hot and muggy as fuck in the summer... CO might be damn fine though, if you don't mind the altitude.

yeah, it does, but i'd take it over desert heat. But then again, I was raised in the desert heat, so i'm a little biased.

hasn't even been close to that here. It'd be nice if it did in the next month or two though. I really do like hot weather, so long as it's seasonal. Just like i love snow, and cold weather, so long as it's seasonal... this full spring and autumn of ever steady 40 degrees day and night bullshit's gotta end. i'm not joking... all last fall, it was 40 degrees (or within 5 degrees of that) day and night, for 2 months straight, and same this past spring, and spring last year.... it's fucked up.

one would think mother nature would throw us a bone and keep us warm for an extra month or two instead of taking it away from us for 8 months.

Can you also speak French, in Russian?

I once had an awkward moment, just to see what it felt like.

I can disarm a man with a look... or my hands.

I'm not entirely a fan of the cold, but I'd love for a real seasonal change...everything in Texas is the same year round:o.
