    Damn, food is getting expensive!

I went to the store tonight and bought the basic bodybuilder/clean eating foods. Some pasta, fish, lean sirloin ground beef, chicken breast, tons of low fat mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, tons of eggs, etc... and of course, a little booze. Point being, I spent $110 on food that will probably only last 10 days or so :wtc:

I need to start shopping at Costco again, but its hard because I almost always shop later at night and Costco around here closes by 8pm
Not to mention, this is in addition to the money spent on protein, fish oils, daily-multi's, etc...

Yeh it sucks, but it is possible to get lower priced high protein food, it just depends if your trying to bulk or cut.

The sad part is, I am cutting :wtc:

My bulking grocery bill is considerably more, lol. Basically the same type of food, just 2X the amount of it.

When your bulking, you dont need to be so specific on your foods. Ie, fat content isnt the end of the world.

I wish I only spent 300 bucks or so on food in a month. :hs: I've got 500 a month set aside for food in my budget. Some of that is eating out, which adds up quick, but....

I've found that if you add more hammer curls into your routine you actually dont need to eat as much food... saves money and you get swole arms...

Cheaper if you buy those in bulk at Sam's/Costco/BJ's too.

I try to buy in bulk when there are sales, but its hard to find good meat on sale.

Last week though a box of individually wrapped chicken breasts (9 per box) was only $5.89 each box... Normally like $12. I bought 6 boxes :hsd:

However, finding a deal on sirloin ground beef (5% fat) is not easy. Shit is like $5 per/lb.

Bah, I am just going to have to put up with the day-time crowds and go to Costco next time. I could probably get 50% more food for the same damn price as Jewel.

Eating like this while in college sucks. Maybe I should just eat 99cent cheeseburgers and supreme taco's all day long and just tell people I am a PL'er now.

The market just isn't what it used to be though :wtc:

Besides, I wouldn't want to get busted by the cops and have to sprint down a sidewalk and get my ass beat.
