So i've read here and other places that shooting a multiple shot panorama is easier to stitch together if you shoot portrait mode, but god damn I just can't bring myself to drop the the couple of hundred dollars everyone seems to want for an L shaped piece of metal bracket. I've hunted around but can't seem to find anything cheap. Anybody know of a decent solution? Or should i just not bother and shoot wide and in landscape? I'm specifically thinking of a bunch of panos during my upcoming trip to Montana/Wyoming

Yeah that's the first place I looked :hs: I don't understand why they charge so much for a piece of metal.

Are you talking about a pano-bracket or an L-plate?
