Finally watched it last night, so say the least I was very impressed. When i first say the previews I thought it looked good, but I liked it even more so. I found the storyline very well done. Was it based on a comic book or a movie anyone know? It its a novel, I might have to go pick myself up a copy.

it's based on an animated series (which was badass). Trevor Goodchild in the movie is a sissy compared to Trevor in the series.

I thought the movie was one of the best sci-fi movies. I thought it was up there with Star Wars and another newer movie called Serenity.

the movie doesn't do justice to the original animated series.

One of the best? I just can't agree with you there. It was fair, MAYBE good, but I didn't find it awful at all. As for being up there with Serenity... them are fightin' words :mamoru:

Nothing really could, though, as wierd as the series was. It was probably as close as any hollywood movie could really get (though Trevor could have been more of an evil mastermind with a vision, I suppose).

However if the animated series was never there the movie would have been pretty decent.. MMMMM Charlize Theron in that movie  .

They needed some kind of a 40 lb actress. Skinny as Charlize Theron is, she looks fat compared to Aeon in the series. It just isn't the same without a 7 foot tall, 60 pound Trevor Goodchild.

Couldn't agree more. I grew up watching the shorts on Liquid Television back in the day. Scary thing is, the same guy that did Aeon, did Rug Rats. :ugh:
