Today a guy put up his DD ae86 for sale. It's a coupe, 5 speed, blue paint. Blue interior. It has 200k miles at least, power everything. One headlight won't go down, passenger window won't go down either. Power sunroof. I drove it today, drives pretty well, 2nd gear would stick rarely. No creeks, nothing on corners, pretty silent. It has a rice muffler though, but I KNOW it hasn't been ragged on, I live in a small town, so I'd know if it was. He said he bought it to replace a rusting stock exhaust and it was cheap.

I really kinda liked it but wondered OT's opinions. Also need some good sites for the 1.6 liter engine, or corollas.

I don't know the difference. If there's a difference in the wheels, I could tell you what it has on it now. They are stock wheels. It's only 800. IF anything I can drive it to and from work.

Stock SR5 = Rear Drum brakes, open differential, 1.6 SOHC 8valve carbed engine

Stock GT-S = Rear Disc brakes, LSD came as an option, 1.6 DOHC 16valve EFI engine.

both are the same chassis. it's all in what you do with them

i wouldn't expect anything less from a person with civic in their username :hsugh: like it or not the AE86 is a rare and much sought after car. it's done nothing but appreciate in value as of recent; they bluebook for bullshit and sell for thousands on auctions and auto trade sites.

    fucking retard :mamoru:

    that one hurt. bad.

are you aware that OT came from Honda-Acura.net? and that happened in 2000? I joined HA.net in like 98 when I had a honda and needed some tech help.

that car has been gone for years. have a nice day. think nice thoughts about me when you are walking back to town, cause that POS 20 year old rust bucket left you stranded with no cell reception

I think everyone is aware of OT's origins; that is irrelevant. Don't get mad Honda boy, I'm sure whatever you're driving right now is still very front wheel drive. Old cars break down and that's the way of the world (and I'm sure your civic did too, and if it didn't you are full of shit). You suck at trolling, /yourself. :ugh:
