    Can someone post a link to a free download of adware & spyware remover, that actually works. I have Spybots Search & Destory, but it isn't able to remove one of the programs and it says that a restart might fix it, but everytime I restart it doesn't fix it. Do you think I just need to reboot my computer?

    restart = reboot.
    If you are asking if you need to do a format/reinstall, occasionally spyware gets to the point that unless you want to invest hours and hours removing every trace, then reinstalling the OS is the better choice. It does take time to backup your files, it just depends how savvy you are and what you have to lose.
    If you DO do a reformat, do some research on how to better protect yourself.

    Thanks for the input. I was afraid that I would have to reboot the OS. Oh well.

    1-800 Geek Squad.

    Delete all Temps in safe mode and run adware/spyware applications in safemode.
    If that doesn't work then call the number above.
