ok so i have lost 62 pounds since this time last year from changing my diet and running almost everyday. In highschool i powerlifted and was 243 @ 19%bf after i stopped lifting i kept eating...and got up to 302 @ 31% bf as of today i am at 237 @ 25%bf. I havent started lifting again so my question now is should i back off on the cardio everyday and start lifting heavy again or get down to a healthier bf and then start again....i am kinda ready to start hitting the weights again, it has been years since i have had a steady routine. And sorry the pictures suck, i really regret not taking progress pics now
    before @ 300 pounds

I'd say you can start lifting at any weight, but your goals can be different. Just watch your diet more closely, you should be fine to lift. esspecially when you really want to lift, thats a good start.

are you wearing some scuba gear in the second pic?

I always wanted to learn how, but I don't think I'd ever really get the opportunity to really do it very often. Someday I might.
