    oh yes, Canon EOS Digital Rebel, standard 18-55mm lense, and uh..not sure how to say this...+7 zoom in Hoya 58mm lenses? 3 small attachments, pop em on the end of the normal lense, what are they called?

    1. Its underexposed
    2. The depth of field is too little, try to get the whole flower in. Use higher aperture.
    3. the picture was taken inside right? Lighting is not really adequate, use a flash?

    underexposed ( i sound like a big noob right now, partly cause i am) what do i do to fix this, slower shutter speed?

    depth = aperature, can do.

    flash was too bright....i'll mess around with it tonight and try again

    Dont take my word as authority though, it just looks like a couple i pics i took inside under crappy lighting.

    By higher aperture i mean higher fstop 5.6 > 2.0 etc.

    Exposure, yeah slower shutter speed.

    with PS It looks much worse, before it dosent look bad, but yah a deeper DOF will be nice, a shallow DOF works for some photos...
    IDK how you wanted the background, but if you wanted it white, adjust the white balance too.
