alright, here's my situation. I've been lifting on and off for the past 5 years or so, with enough emphasis on the off to hardly get anywhere. I'm sitting at 5'8''-5'9'' 155 or so, with a good amount of fat on my stomach and man boobs - I hold an inordinate amount there, it really sucks and makes me want to cut pretty badly. However, I know my strength and muscle just isnt where it should be. I'm thinking if I get back into lifting and cardio full bore, my body composition should change out for the better. At the same time, I'd like to gain as much strength and muscle as possible, because staying at this level is just ridiculous - which makes me want to bulk. any advice?

thats the plan, but I'm just looking for some advice on caloric intake. I'm thinking that I've been off long enough now (maybe 6+ weeks?) that I'd be able to get pretty fast strength and maybe mass gains initially, and then I can see where to go from there :hs:

unless you are in bad shape, I wouldn't recommend much cardio

Lift hard and eat, worry about cutting later

you don't have much muscle mass right now, so don't risk losing it

bitch tit factor :hs: I'm probably just going to start around 2500 cal/day, and adjust upward as much as I can w/out gaining too much fat
