I couldn't crack CS4 beta, nor could I get a serial anywhere. It seems, they really tightened down in the later versions of CS3

I don't get this...you don't want people stealing your photos, but you'll steal the software necessary to process them?:ugh:

because a copy of CSx, it'll run you 1k+, which is a necessary component for PP... at least if you want to do it with a quality product. Most people can't afford that kind of scratch at the drop of a hat.

ugh all you want, it's the truth, you're going to steal software but you want people to buy your photos and you get pissed when they get stolen. Talk about a double standard

    no, they don't:ugh: sure it's 6 or 700 but it's nowhere near 1k:ugh:

and price doesn't justify stealing it...I want to drive a ferrari can I steal it?

    :ugh:

and photoshop of any type is NOT necessary for PP, there are plenty of other options, including the cheaper Lightroom (then again you probably stole that too).
    OT's justification for it's stealing is:ugh: "OMG I can't afford it, so I'll steal it instead":ugh:

    please be a bigger faggot

FUCK adobe for adding 10 new features and calling it a major release.
CS3 is 1 year old. Expecting consumers to pay $900 to upgrade is absolutely fucking ridiculous (master suite).

if you have CS3, CS4 is a $200 upgrade... which I do. I see his point, I see your point, but I tend to the 'not stealing' programs side. They're just another piece of equipment these days. Music, yes. Fuck the music industry...

$899 to upgrade the suite :eek4:

I actually considered buying ps CS4 extended since I can get a big discount through school (less than 200 for cs4 extended), but then I realized how pissed i'd be when they charged me another 150 to upgrade it in a year. :ugh:

ok, ok, i'll give you guys the moral coin in regards to software... but i stand by my long history of downloaded/burned music, as those who really created it, don't get paid much off of cd sales. But software... ok, yeah...

On that score, i'm just an amoral person. :hs:

and honestly, I think thats another reason other programs are going to a subscription setup. I'm looking for a good program to do wedding albums, and ran across a program that wants $250 a YEAR just for you to be able to use their shit. Fuck that!!! I'll just keep on using blurb, asuka, and others w/ their own programs.

People downloading shit off each other has pushed the market to that I think. For the companies, its great. For us, its becoming harder and harder to get shit. :hs:

    right...I'm in the wrong because you're a thief?:ugh:

are you going to pass the stolen software onto your clients? Yeah, I didn't think so.

So your justification is that you don't feel the new additions to the software are worth the price, in that case it seems like you don't need the new software....so now we've determined that stealing is okay if the cost isn't what YOU consider fair, and stealing is okay if you don't really need the new stuff but want the new stuff anyway

    :ugh:

please go back to name calling, it suits you best, it's what most thieves are good at.
