Hey guys, im going to Texas for spring break and am bringing some of my guns. I decided to put a sling on my Mossberg 802 plinkster just so i can carry it on my back while on a quad and the like. I broke the gun down for the first time to install the anchors in the stock and noticed an adjustment screw of some sorts. I didnt fuck with it because im not sure what it is. Can anyone tell me?

From looking in the OM it looks like its the receiver screw. Part #44 in the exploded diagram.

You can DL it. I dont keep stacks of them around.

From what I can tell it anchors the barrel to the receiver.

    Awesome, i found it here.

It appears it is safe to take them out to help perform a more detailed cleaning. I never knew that. Ill be sure to break it down after tomorrows range trip. Thanks!
