I have the Low Pass Filter on 80hz with the gain about 3/4 the way up. My deck has a subwoofer level and I have it set to +3 ( goes up to +15 )

My questions are is the LPF setting ok with this combo? And should I lower the gain to 1/2 way on the amp and just turn the subwoofer level up on my deck?

It sounds good the way it is now but I don't want to damage anything.

I have a 80mm computer case fan blowing across the top of the amp to help with the heat during the upcoming summer weather.

JL W3's are a bit muddy sounding to me, and I like a low LPF to help compensate. I think 80Hz is a good setting.
