Me and my friends weight-lift a lot, and lately we've been like, "The more you work out the better." I wasn't sure if he was right or wrong, and neither was he. So we work out just about everyday now. We eat before and after we lift, but we noticed that we were working out too much. We only workout 30 minutes a day, and they usually consist of light exercises.

Are you guys getting addicted too? Is it bad? We've both been getting thinner!

30 mins per day is not "too much". Is your goal to loose weight?

Depends on your body and schedule. Last year I was lifting heavy 5 days a week and wrestling on 2. However, my earliest class wasn't till 2PM in the afternoon so I got TONS of sleep. Now I have to get up early 4 days a week and I can't lift more that 3 days a week and wrestle or 4 days w/o wrestling without feeling shitty.

you need Food, not just protein, if you're bulking you need FOOD, shovel it in all day and lift longer than 30 minutes, work a muscle group once, maybe twice a week don't bench 5 days a week for example, yada yada yada,

stickies would be a good place to start.

take multivitamin and EAT FOOD, 1800 calories a day is nothing

Agreed, when Im lifting I tend to forget my problems. Somedays I cant wait to go workout after comin home from school. Today I was excited to workout after work. It really hasnt ruined my social life but before I know it did. I would have to say, Yes, I am addicted to working out. 6 days a week, I pretty much live at the gym.

Some people are so fucking ignorant.

Think about it, before making this thread he actually thought that calories = fat.

How can somone be even semi-serious about a bulking regimen without knowing even the basics of basics.
