have you ever noticed any weird things after you stop taking adderall?

not including being lethargic as hell for a few days.

I will look this up as I don't have any experience myself with taking adderall over a long period of time - I've only taken it a few times as a recreational drug in the past.. Been sober for 6 months now though. :werd:

I'd recommend checking out erowid.org then going to Adderall and look at other people's experiences with the drug; maybe that will help you find some stories to identify with.

EDIT: Obviously, if things get really bad with withdrawal symptoms or thoughts of suicide start to occur - go to the nearest Emergency Room or at least see your Doctor and let him know you are withdrawing from that medication (whether or not he gave it to you or you are taking it from buying it on the street a Doctor's opinion never hurts)

im curious. do drugs that are similar (Ex: meth and adderall) give similar withdrawal symptoms? because adderall is professionally made is it worse/better for you?

the days i don’t take it i'm SUPER lazy and don't get shit done.

if i take it for an extended amount of time my attitude changes and i find that i'm totally withdrawn from day-to-day life.

Adderal is methamphetamine. Meth was invented by pharmaceutical companies to help weight loss. Turns out it was also lethaly addictive. It has been around since the 1920's

adderall is not methamphetamine, you are 100% wrong.

it is compound of dextroamphetamine and amphetamine salts.

Really, you wont have any real physical withdraw symptoms, just psychological.

Also amphetamines and methamphetamine were around before the 1920s (1887 and 1893), and first found military use (not weight loss).

:werd: came in here to post that

though maybe he was referring to adderall being introduced in the 20's as an anorectic...but yeah amphetamines were around way earlier, and adderall is not a methamphetamine whatsoever

there has to be a strong correlation, even if he isn't 100% right.

No offense man, but I'm tending to believe the word of this man, who had to deal with it for years, over that.

They are similar drugs, but not the same. Check it out on your own if you dont believe me.

Methamphetamine is a much more recreational (and dangerous) drug than amphetamine. Methamphetamine is smokable, amphetamine is not.

Adderall is a supposedly less recreational amphetamine compound.

Unfortunately i have plenty of first hand experience with both.

I stopped taking it for 10 days. I fear ive become way to dependant on it to be normal on my own... :hs:
my mind was filled with anxiety and fears. it was uncontrolable..

Yes, he is right. Checkout the wonderful http://www.wikipedia.org/ for more info.

They do actually prescribe methamphetamine its called dexosyn. Pretty sad they have a prescription med thats the same as one of the most horrible street drugs available.

As far as your question goes.
I suggest searching google for "adderall withdrawl" and erowid.org.

Thats not a bad thing, some people rely on it to live their daily lives and it has legit medicinal uses. Just because some people abuse a form of one drug doesn't mean that it should be demonized, should we get rid of everything that derives from the opium poppy just because their are people that shoot heroin?
