I'm trying to cut down to ~8% BF
    5'8, 168, ~11% BF

Is it cool to eat 1 piece whole grain whole wheat toast w/ 1 egg before workout, and then followup w/ a heavier post-workout meal? (protein shake, 30 min, then meal)

I'm not a big fan of protein shake before workout, does not work nicely for me during cardio...

    Anyway-
Is that enough carbs/protein to keep me running efficiently through lifting and 30 min cardio ?

    Thanks

Just IMO - skip the carbs and get a bit more protein. Should help your body use fat for fuel instead of carbs.

Maybe a few eggs / egg whites?

The reason I've been messing with the carbs is I feel like it helps me with Cardio.. but maybe thats the reason ? :dunno: Is it using the carbs instead of burning fat?

Make yourself an omlette with 2 eggs and 4 egg whites. If you have to have some carbs eat some oatmeal instead of toast.
